Bespoke AI

Changelog

A readable, versioned record of what is new, what improved, and what we fixed.

Version 2026.10.2

Talk with Bespoke, see richer answers, and share your work

Live Voice, Documents, Share and Temporary chat are open to everyone; answers can show pictures, videos, news and places on a map; memory carries your preferences; and the chat makes more room on small screens.

New

  • Live Voice: talk with Bespoke out loud, as a call. One row holds Mute, Type and End, a phone can drag the call to full screen, and saying goodbye ends it. How many minutes you have depends on your plan.
  • Documents: ask for a letter, report, proposal or similar, and Bespoke writes it in the background, shows it in the chat, and lets you revise it and download it as PDF, Word or Markdown.
  • Answers can show pictures, short videos, news and places. Places appear on a live map with photos, and a YouTube or Vimeo link you paste plays inside the answer.
  • Search your work: find your own chats, messages, Projects, Library items and research reports, and open a result where it lives. Each category can be turned off in Settings → Search.
  • Share a chat: create a link to a snapshot of a conversation and copy it in one press. Bespoke warns you first if the chat used your private context, and anyone signed in can continue from the snapshot.
  • Temporary chat: a chat that is not saved to your history or memory, and is deleted after 30 days.
  • Teen accounts: people aged 13 to 17 can join with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement.
  • On a computer, a long chat has a timeline at its edge: point at it to see your questions and jump to any of them.

Improved

  • Memory: preferences you state apply to every answer, Bespoke can recall earlier chats when it helps, it asks before saving something you might want kept, and learning from chats is on by default. You can turn learning off in Settings.
  • Sources sit in a panel beside the chat rather than over it, with each publisher’s icon and up to ten results per search.
  • From the moment you press Send, the answer’s place shows what Bespoke is doing, and Live Work lists each step and thought as it happens.
  • Settings is one grouped layout, Profile is now Settings → Account, and you can hear each voice before choosing it.
  • A Project’s name and sections sit in the top bar, a Project chat uses the whole screen, and a chat can move to another Project or leave one.
  • Short screens get more room: a smaller top bar on short laptop windows, and on a phone the bar steps aside while you read.
  • A phone number is now asked for only to start a free trial or to pay by bank transfer.
  • A refreshed look, with a deeper accent colour and a logo that comes alive on an empty chat.

Fixed

  • Files added to a Project are ready to use straight away.
  • Mathematics in answers is typeset properly.
  • Moving the chat you are reading to another Project no longer makes its next message fail.

Version 2026.10.1

Listen to answers, and see how they were made

Answers can be read aloud in Bespoke’s own voices, every answer shows how long Bespoke thought, and you can ask about any passage of an answer.

New

  • Read aloud: listen to any answer, in one of Bespoke’s own voices where your account has them, with a reading bar that follows along.
  • Ask about: select a passage of an answer to ask a follow-up about exactly that.
  • Diagrams and tables open in one viewer: move and zoom a diagram freely, and copy a table as a real table.

Improved

  • Every answer shows how long Bespoke thought before replying, with the steps it took.
  • The microphone in the message box now writes what you say, and Live Voice has its own control beside it.
  • Bespoke knows today’s date and your local time, so questions about deadlines, days and years are answered for now.
  • Edit and Copy on a message you sent appear when you point at it or tap it.

Fixed

  • Bug reports send again, from your signed-in account.

Version 2026.09.6

Cookie preferences

You now choose whether Bespoke AI may use analytics, and you can change that choice at any time.

New

  • Cookie preferences: a short notice on your first visit, with "Necessary only" and "Allow analytics" as equal choices. Open it again from any public page’s footer or from Settings → General.

Improved

  • Product analytics now runs only after you allow it, and stops and clears what it kept on your device if you change your mind.

Fixed

  • The message box returns to its normal size when you cut all of its text.

Version 2026.09.5

Project images

You can now give a Project an image from your device and see it wherever the Project appears.

New

  • Upload, replace or remove a Project image in Project settings. The image appears in the sidebar, Projects list, Project header and conversation title bar.

Improved

  • Images are cropped to a square before upload. The Project falls back to its icon and colour if its image is unavailable.

Version 2026.09.4

Access codes

If someone at Bespoke has given you an access code, you can now apply it yourself and see exactly what it gives you and until when.

New

  • Have an access code? Open Plans and apply it. Your access changes immediately, without signing out or reloading.
  • Profile now shows your current access in plain words, including the date complimentary access ends.

Improved

  • Plans marks complimentary access as complimentary rather than showing it as a plan you bought.

Version 2026.09.3

Research, planned with you first

Ask Bespoke to research a question and it shows you a plan before it searches: what it will look into, what it is leaving out, and what it will cost.

New

  • Research: review the plan Bespoke proposes, tick or untick what it covers, add what it missed, and start it when it looks right. The finished report goes to your Library with its sources.
  • Type @ in the message box, or open the add menu, to send a message to Research instead of chat.

Improved

  • The privacy policy now explains what Research sends to the search provider and what it keeps.

Fixed

  • A citation written in an unusual bracket style now shows as a citation instead of stray characters.

Version 2026.09.2

A Library that keeps track of your work

The Library now keeps every version of an item, shows which Projects use it, and gives deleted items 30 days on their own page before they are gone for good.

New

  • Deleted items move to Recently Deleted, a separate page where they can be restored for 30 days before they are permanently erased.
  • Every Library item keeps its earlier versions. You can preview, download, or restore any of them as a new version.
  • Save to Library keeps a response from any chat, and Add to Project lets a Project use an item without moving it.

Improved

  • One Library for everything you upload or create, with search, file-type and origin filters, and the Projects each item serves.
  • Right after a delete, Bespoke says where the item went and offers Undo.
  • A file that cannot be searched says so, with a way to try again.

Fixed

  • Removing an item from a Project no longer looks like deleting it: the item stays in your Library.

Version 2026.09.1

Bespoke can look things up

Bespoke AI can now search the web when an answer depends on current information, with a setting to turn automatic search off.

New

  • Bespoke searches the web when an answer depends on something that may have changed, and shows the sources it used.
  • A new profile setting, Search the web automatically, turns automatic search off while still honouring an explicit request in your message.

Improved

  • When Bespoke cannot reach the web, it says so rather than answering as though it had checked.
  • Tables in answers now stay inside the conversation instead of pushing the page sideways, and read as typeset tables rather than spreadsheets.

Fixed

  • Fast mode never searches, so it stays fast.
